Academy of Art University Assisting Misplaced Students

The US Department of Education left thousands of students wondering about their future on February 27, 2019, when it cut an entire college system’s federal funding. The decision was in response to signs that Dream Center Education Holdings had not successfully reorganized after filing for receivership. March of 2019 22 Art Institutions and college campuses closed for not successfully converting to nonprofits.

The students of the closed schools were told to check the online fact sheet to find out about loan cancellations, options and obtaining academic records. The resource should also provide students with information on how to have the loans discharged because the schools closed and answer common questions related to the closures. The Academy of Art University is offering two agreements for education to students that were affected by the Art in state college closings.

The Academy of Art University offers a Portfolio Grant that offers a maximum of $3,000 in a limited number to help aspiring designers and artists cover Fall and Summer terms. Applicants can also apply for federal student aid.

A teach out agreement was added to the education agreements already in place to allow former students of Ai to finish obtaining degrees at the Academy of Art University. The new agreement allows former students of Ai that have more than 75% of credits completed transfer into the Academy for the intended degree. A portfolio of supporting work and official transcripts are required.

Scholarship opportunities are being offered by the Academy of Art University to help students make the transition. There is a scholarship of $7,000 offered in both agreements. There is an enrollment requirement of at least six units for students to be eligible for a maximum of seven $1,00 scholarships each semester for a total of seven semesters. Students can benefit from several programs whether attending on campus or online.

Is Dr. Clay Siegall An Unsung Hero

There are heros in our society today and there are unsung heros in our society today. It seems like the people who do absolutely nothing for society gets the credit. On the other hand, the people who dedicate their lives to fight a cause seem to get swept under the rug and forgotten. Unfortunately, this is the kind of society that we live in. Clay Siegall, Ph.D., M.D., is the man of the hour. He is one of the most progressive-thinking individuals in cancer research. Dr. Siegall’s path to greatness started out many decades ago. He has worked exclusively with high-profile names such the National Institute of Health and the National Cancer Institute. Lets take a closure look at to why this man is so special.

Dr. Siegall’s profound understanding of cancer actually comes from his educational background. He has a Ph.D. in Genetics as well as a B.S. in Zoology. Siegall received these accreditations from the affluent George Washington University and from the University of Maryland. “I’ve always been interested in medicine,” said Siegall. He has a knack for trying to restore the health of people who have been suffering with cancer. This man is what you would call an “old guard.” Seattle Genetics is his weapon of choice, and this oncology company has a successful track record. Seattle Genetics specializes in developing and commercializing antibody-drug conjugates. These advanced medications do a great of attaching themselves to cancer cells in the body. Once the ADCs are attached, they’ll deliver a cell-killing blow of magnitude proportions.

By being able to enter the medications into multiple strategic licenses, the medications can now be used all around the globe. Dr. Siegall has worked on deals with Bayer, with Pfizer, with GlaxoSmithKlien and with Genentech to make this possible. Is there anything that this man can’t do as it pertains to cancer research? In the end, he may not be a household name, but Dr. Clay Siegall has helped to reshape society from the inside out.
